Through the Come Alive Outside Community Challenge, high school students team up with partners in their communities to take action that creates the awareness, intention and opportunity for people to live healthier lives outdoors. In 2014, 9 FFA Chapters and 4H Clubs in Colorado completed the Challenge, conducting service projects and hosting events over the summer. In 2012 and 2013, the Community Challenge was conducted by encouraging high school students to pair with college mentors from Auburn University and Kansas State University. The 2015 Community Challenge is currently underway in Colorado, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Vermont.  Click here to view orientation materials for this year’s challenge!
